Calling all iFams, D-groups, and Ignite leaders, friends, and family: For our fourth iServe event of the semester, we will be constructing tied fleece blankets from Nov 11-18 in support of the Cape Girardeau Safe House for Women. The safe house provides refuge to those affected by domestic abuse and violence. It also offers support services, training, and education along with advocating for social change and public policies that protect a person's right to live free of abuse. Fleece materials will be available in the Ignite House living room and your iFams, D-groups, and friend groups are encouraged to tie blankets at your convenience. In addition, we will need volunteers to deliver the blankets to the safe house prior to Thanksgiving break.
